Soldier watched as karin went silent and folded her wing. He closed his eyes for a few seconds before unfolding his wings with power and gliding easily over to the wolf. It was easy to see she got bored with things. The golden eagle certainly would keep everything interesting for her. Souldier didn't seem to say anything he just stood there in front of her. As if expecting her to do something to interest him instead of him entertaining her. His dark feathers ruffled with the cold wind.

Sembla looked at Souldier, who seemed to be waiting for her to do something impressive. Huh. What on earth could she do that would impress a Golden Eagle?
"Wanna play?" she asked. And without waiting for a response, she air jumped so she was high enough that Souldier and Karin looked like ants below her. "Let's play!" Her eyes shimmered with excitement as she zipped back and forth in the air, then dove down, landing on her front paws in a hand stand. "How about a sporting game of Chicken?" She hoped this impressed the bird, although it probably didn't, but she wasn't going to attack her new companion, and couldn't think of anything else to do off the top of her head. She spotted Karin out of the corner of her eye, hoping this would at least amuse her. After all, Sembla could amuse anyone if she could amuse herself.

The golden eagle watched, her skills with the air were excellent. He may not have been one of the special birds who controlled the air element, yet his fair share of skills were remarkable. He didn't want to play, games were nothing more then entertainment, life was not entertainment, it was survival. If there was one thing to learn about the world was unlike the wolves down in the packs, every day up here was like a year. Forging for food for their families, defending themselves from the other birds. They may live on the same peak, but it didn't mean they got along with each other.
Souldier shook his head, spreading his wings, he lifted himself up with speed and ducked down into the snow. Deep enough where the entrance of a tunnel was created, when he got inside a bunch of birds fluttered out, when he came back up he picked one of them out and threw it's corpse at the girl. It was nothing more then a small chick, it also looked as if it was a Golden Eagle just like him. Yet, not even old enough to fly just glide short distances.

Sembla didn't know how to feel when Souldier shook his head, and watched as he sped down the tunnel. The birds living inside were fluttering out of it, and she wondered briefly if Souldier dove in there often. Then, a small chick was thrown at her, once again. This time, she caught it, only to realize it was dead. She couldn't do anything but stare at it. Why did Souldier throw her a dead bird? Was he expecting her to eat it? Because she most certainly wouldn't. If she was hungry, she'd have killed something herself. This bird looked just like a chick version of Souldier...She carefully placed the corpse into the snow, covering it as soon as she did. Its dead eyes were just creepy. She looked up at the Golden Eagle and took a deep breath.
"Why did you kill it?" she wondered. It just wasn't right to her that the chick should die. It wasn't as if it would make a meal, and if he was trying to show her only the strong survive, it wasn't the way to do it. That chick would have probably grown up to be strong like Souldier after all. Still, she would await his answer before saying anything, or taking further action.

Souldier watched her reaction with ease. That chick was going to die whether he had killed it or not, it's mother had left it for a pitiful wolf and it's father killed by a rucarin. He could tell that this wolf could see no need for the killing of it, he wanted to explain something very clear to her now. Something, that all these birds here knew it was true and took pride of it as well. Souldier flew down and uncovered the dead chick and pulled it closer, whispering a few foreign language words, then carrying it where he threw it up in the air and it was soon lost in a flock of vultures. Then landed in front of Sembla, what she had just seen, was a code, but nothing that a simple mind could understand.
"Understand this wolf. All of you come hear to steal us from our homes, I know a lot of us only go if willing, but the times when we truly bonded with the air nomads is over and every one of us here knows it. Surviving here is harder then surviving alone down in the forest, which is extremely hard for species of us like sparrows. We don't look after each other, I only ended that chicks life sooner to ease it's suffering heart. I can only feed myself in times like these and it had no family no mother no father. Everything that dies on the top of this mountain is claimed to the vultures why the other birds are stuck hunting the very few ice shrews that live here. The only reason we leave most times is because we believe it's easier to survive with wolves that we see pride in. Yet, our honor as birds is taken away when we result in such selfish needs. You get bored with things, you don't know how to re act so you just do what you think might please us, but that's not at all what any of us want to see. We want to see you strive as an individual, we want to see you prove that you will not just take away our pride as birds chosen to be brothers in flight rather then the normal ones below. I may not be one with special elemental powers, but if there is one thing I know, it's that with you, you would take away the pride of being a bird if you tried to impress us too hard, you try too hard. You loose interest when you should stop, and make them change. The only reason they get boring, is because you give them nothing to re act to."
The bird settled down behind him, all off them quiet. As the bearded vulture and the philippine eagle came to souldier side. They looked at souldier then back at the wolf. Her next answer, was what needed to come from a reaction and change from what souldier had said. Yet in the utter silence, the golden eagle closed his eyes, hoping for nothing, because he could not understand why wolves were so naive.

Sembla wasn't sure what to say to Souldier's lecture, but she could feel all eyes on her. Tears were welling in her eyes. So they all saw being with her as taking away their pride, did they? Fine. She didn't need them. ...But then again, that's not entirely what he said. She thought about it some more. He said her trying to impress them too much is the action that is stripping of their pride, and instead of ditching things when she loses interest, she needs to change them instead. But this was who she was. Did he really expect her to change her whole personality on a dime? She took a deep breath and bowed once more to Souldier.
"It has never been my intention to take pride from anyone, and it sucks that you all live in such a world," she said, her voice wavering. He doesn't want me to try impressing them? Fine. I'll show the real me...the one I hide because I'm too busy trying to be impressive. She lifted her head up to look him in the eye. "You expect me to change my ways, but such a thing does not happen on a dime. It is my nature to run away as soon as things get dull." She blinked. "I have not had guidance from any one constant source since my parents disappeared. I thought that was a hard life to live, but I see that it isn't now. It is better to have many, scattered things care about you enough to teach you, then leave you alone, than it is to have no one there for you." Her eyes conveyed sorrow in them. "I can tell you all that what is ingrained in me, I will try to change, but for my benefit, not any of yours. It has denied me many opportunities when I have just moved on with the next thrill, rather than stopping and trying to change the situation." She looked all the birds in the eye now. "If all of you think I would strip you of your pride, then I will jump off this mountain, and leave you all alone. I won't lie and tell you I don't want any of you as a companion. I am honored to have met all of you." She smiled sweetly. "If none of you want me as your companion, then I will not try to change your minds. I'll just leave..." The idea was appalling to her, leaving those birds to suffer with this life Souldier painted for her, but what else could she do if none of them would accept her?

Souldier was pushing her to show her true colors, what she actually meant in the world. It was obvious one could not change in the blink of an eye. It was slow, and along that path it may have been painful. The Golden eagle looked at her blinking and then looking at her again. With all the eyes among her they started whispering, Karin and the bearded vulture looked at Souldier, their beaks not knowing what to say. They could not argue with what Souldier had said. Although, her answer was even more amusing to him then anything ever was with any other wolf. The Golden eagle spread his wings, ripping a feather out of one of them, it was a long one, one of his flight feathers. It was dark brown with gold right on the tip, the obvious color on his body.
He glided forward with the feather in his mouth, the others looked at him in amazement. Picking it out of his beak with his talons, he entwined it in her fur right on the shoulder, it almost looked like she was born with it in there. "Does this wolf, Sembla as we know, prove to be known as one of the special chosen to have one of us as a companion, yes. Does this wolf Sembla have nothing left to learn, a definite no. But you promise, to keep me at your side, and I will support yours. With this feather, I Souldier, declare myself belonging and this wolf worthy of being at my side" He spoke with clarity. Perching himself on Semblas shoulder.
Souldier is now Sembla's brother in flight, his profile has been added to her bio and please edit her bio to include the feather entwined in her shoulder

When she finished, Sembla noticed all of the birds whispering. What were they saying? She quaked in nervous anticipation. She noticed the eyes of Karin and the Bearded Vulture on Souldier, which is where she was looking as well. It seemed as if they were leaving her fate up to him. She didn't know if that was a good or bad thing. And then he ripped a feather from his wing, and glided over to her. What was he going to do? Push her off the mountain while holding his own feather in his beak? It didn't seem likely, but in Sembla's mind, it was more so than what happened next. He entwined his feather in her shoulder. She looked down at it, then up at Souldier to hear what he had to say. His words made her beam, and she cried tears of joy. She had never been so happy in her whole life. All she could say to that was: "Th-thank you very much! I am honored!" She smiled even wider, which had previously seemed impossible. "Are you ready to go explore the world?" She seemed to be absolutely glowing as she stepped to the edge of the mountain. She turned to the others. "Thank all of you. It's been a wonderful experience." Her eyes sparkled with an excited gleam as she jumped off the mountain, catching herself with air currents as she did. This was the happiest she had ever been, so, naturally, she had to use all that excited energy somehow.
