Wish

Silver finished her short swim in the shallows and clambered back onto land, shaking her fur to get rid of the dragging water clinging to her sides. Her fur wasn't waterproof, like most of the other Inu wolves, it refused to shed the water and obstinately continued to try to trip her as she loped back to the den. On the way, she began to scout around, sniffing the air as she tried to catch the scent of any passing prey. She heard a sudden rustle in the bushes, and pounced with a snarling squeal of excitement. Could it be?

No such luck-just a rustle of wind in its leaves. Quickly she bounced back up, then sat glaring at the lopsided shrub. A wave of anger overcame her, and she began to vent her frustration on the hapless plant, tearing it to pieces with her teeth. She felt a satisfactory surge of energy as its death fed her power, and grinning, she made her way back to the small, sheltered den at the back of the island. As she went she continued to search for prey, although there wasn't much of a chance now after she'd made all that racket with the bush.

Riley had been playing with Ventus for some time now. The bird was flying around trying to teach the pup to hunt better. Although she was 2 years old, she had no parents to teach her, so she had the same smarts as a yearling one could say. Riley crouched down and jumped at the bird, but he flew off and landed somewhere else. "Try to be more quick with your movements, remember you don't always have to go by your powers to hunt" The bird said flapping his wings. Riley nodded and crouched down once more trying to get closer as quick as she could without making much noise.

Ventus was caught under Rileys paws with a little laugh. "Now it won't be that easy to actualy hunt, but it's a good start for an air nomad like you. You need to learn all sorts of hunting styles since you travel a lot and eat a different variety of prey more then a customed pack wolf is used to" He explained as Riley got off of him. Riley nodded, "Right and I can bring back food for the both of us" she smiled sweetly at the bird. They were in the Inu lands, because both didn't need to swim they could fly. But Riley only for a little while considering it was a spell.
