BE SURE TO READ REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY CONTESTS YOU HAVE MADE BEFORE, AS THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND VIOLATION OF THEM CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS REPERCUSSIONS.
*Members are allowed to create contests, meaning there is a prize to be won. If there is no prize, then the idea is considered a game and you won't need to read any farther.
*Contest creators must supply all prizes, unless another member has offered to contribute.
*Members aside from the creator who will be giving prizes must post on the contest thread stating exactly what they are willing to give before anyone can enter the contest.
*Anything virtual can be a prize; magic, graphics, coding, a character, etc. However, make sure you absolutely can supply what you state that you will.
*If you are giving magic points, you must have the total amount of points possible to be given in your account before anyone can enter the contest.
*If you are supplying a service, such as graphics, make sure contestants can see for themselves the caliber of what they are trying to win. Provide examples and be specific about the amount of work you're willing to do.
*Contests can be serious or silly. There are no restrictions on what the contests are about as long as they abide by the OOC rules and the Proboards TOS.
*All contest threads must have the word 'contest' in their title.
*All contests must be approved by a staff member to insure that they abide by these rules.
*Contests that involve site-wide plots must be approved by an administrator.
*Contests for high-ranks must involve an audition to be approved by a staff member.
