LOOK TO THE SKY [/size]
The sky grew dark, covered in clouds. At first, your characters think that it's nothing more then an on coming storm. Then suddenly burst out of the clouds is a beautiful thin scaly creature. With a wingspan of twenty feet, as it's tail trailed behind it. It folds it's claws against it's chest as it gracefully flies above your characters. Flying onto the water landing straight on top as if it was floating.
The Sliveren starred at your character for a few moments with it's pure blue eyes, freezing a bit of the area around itself. Then flapping it's wings again it broke the ice, leaving a snowy residew behind as it left a icy trail in it's wake from it's tail. Fluttering back into the clouds as they moved away. It dissapeared, never for your characters to see again.

Zephard laughed a bit and shook his head at the fae, when something int he sky caught his attention. He raised his purple eyes and watched the creature land onto the water. He quickly jumped up and came to the edge of the water. Looking at it carefully, ex aiming it's beautiful features. "Who would of thought that we would see a Sliveren Talon here" He spoke with clarity as he watched the creature flick it's tail. Blink, then burst off the water and back into the sky. Leaving his fur to be covered in small ice shavings which made it seem like his soft silky fur was sparkling in the sunlight as the remaining clouds moved away.
The black male sat down and watched the spot where the creature had vanished, what a surprise that had been in this world. He had only heard of them from legends, never actually seen them. He looked back at Vicki, with a bit of a smile. Maybe he had made an achievement or she had made one or they would both make one in the future. At least that was what the icy dragon was supposed to represent. Although he was glad he had made a new friend, he would keep her close and make sure that she didn't end up like the others who had been dead. for some time now.

Vicki heard Zephard laughing and blushed slightly with embarrassment. Had she said or done something funny? She certainly didn't think so. And that's when the area became a little darker suddenly and she looked up, seeing the Silveren in all its beauty. She gasped. It was utterly dazzling, and it dove from the sky, and landed on top of the water without making so much as a splash. The water around it froze, which only made the sight that much more amazing. She approached it slowly as it stared at her, and she stared right back. Then she heard Zephard's words.
"Indeed. Who'd have thought?" she asked, still staring at it. Then, it flew away, and she stared, gaping, only to catch some ice shavings in her mouth. She laughed, more from eagerness than anything else, and looked to Zephard. He looked even more amazing with the ice on him. How did he look so good?! It was so unfair. She probably looked like a total idiot, and here he was, looking as though he was sparkling. She smiled brightly.
"I am fortunate to have seen it. I never thought I'd get the chance," she stated. "I mean, this only happens once in a lifetime, if that." She vaguely wondered what was accomplished or would be accomplished. She didn't do anything that great, so it must be Zephard who this being was for, not her. She looked at him again, considering. Yes, he did seem like the type who would accomplish things far greater than she ever would, and until she repaid him for saving her, she would stay by his side.

After the Sliveren had left, and Zephards fur was shining the wind ran through his fur. Moving with it he backed up a bit and looked back at Vicki. His black fur soaked up the ice crystals, making bits and pieces of his fur white. Blinking he watched as the same happened to Vicki, her covered in white splotches, then they faded away. Quickly, but still imprinting the memory in the wolf's head. He smiled at her, trotting over and sitting down next to her. With a flick of his tail, he perked up his ears, noticing that it was starting to get dark. Had they really been out that long, or was this another trick? He looked around and saw the setting sun, which was a relief that this wasn't a trick. He sighed, not having much more to say to the fae, although he knew that he liked her. Whether or not as a mate was confused in his mind. After all, she reminded him or her so much, the one he once loved.
"I can sing another song if you like, but after that I might have to go. Your pack would definitly not like me sleeping there, if Gabe found me he would tear me to shreds. I've heard about how he is a blood thirsty brute." Zephard suggested, wanting just a little longer to be with her. She was the first wolf in a few years to be his friend, that belonged to a pack anyway. She was kind and fun, sweet and wanted to repay a favor that he would have done regardless of who she was. He would even protect Gabe if he had to. Zephard wasn't the kind of wolf to kill, he never was in that factor alone.

Vicki chuckled. "I could deal with Gabe. He may be a blood-thirsty brute, but if I told him not only would I refuse my services to him, he'd have to go through me to get you, I don't think he'd risk it," she said with a smile. "After all, the other healer is usually tending to our alphas and no one else." She shrugged, then winced. She really should stop doing that. She then cleared her throat and didn't acknowledge it. "As you have protected me, I would protect you. Unfortunately, you are correct in that you should probably sleep somewhere else. While no wolf scares me, I wouldn't last against the entire pack of them." She smiled warmly. "I would love to hear you sing again, though. Your voice is incredible." So much better than my singing voice, anyway. I never was much for singing, really. She had to admit, she really liked Zephard, and if the rest of her pack and other wolves would just give him a chance, she was certain they'd like him, too. After all, he was plenty nice, not to mention handsome. He laid his life on the line for her when he didn't even really know her, and that, to her, was the most admirable quality a wolf could have.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,430,true] | [atrb=background,http://i559.photobucket.com/albums/ss40/Milkyface4455/Zephard2.jpg] Zephard was glad to hear what the fae had said, the last thing he needed was another dead wolf just because they wanted to hide him in plain site. Although, his description had changed so he did have a change, yet at the same time if there were any other aura readers such as Vicki herself, he would be in trouble big time. Zephard looked at her with a smile, vanishing into thin air, then his misty black smoke made the shape of him again standing in front of Vicki. One of his favorite spells, which was easy to use, also a bit mysterious to those who didn't know whether it was a transportation spell or not. He started with a slow hum turning his head to the side looking at the setting sun, watching it with his purple eyes.
"♫As the sun sets over the sky, Watch the clouds set to the mood Sing along, old and young To see as the moon rises
The moon is of old legend Smart and true But alas, these wolves mostly forget what it truley means To be one who hides under the moonlight
Silent and free, the moon is a friend Howling to it in reply makes us who we are Searching for a path, who is alone But alas, we are never alone because of the moon.♫"
Zephard sang, swinging his hind legs back and forth in a dance. He turned back to Vicki and vanished once more, shaping himself on the shore, with a piece of him in the water, he pushed her on the back encouraging her to stand up and dance with him, this song was not quiet done as he kept humming the tune, after his attempt to push her up an vanished and reappeared in front of her.
"♫All but who would sing alone All but two to sing along All but a spirit left in time All but sorrow felt in...ryhme
A wolves soul reflects off of their howl Solem and true They cannot lie whether they wanted to or not. Watching the sun set, as they sit in excitement
It goes a little something like this♫"
After the next part of the song, Zephard raised his head in a howl that was filled with song. Whispering the judgement of his soul, it rang like a bell around the crisp air, leaving a ghostly print and echo around the forest and water's edge. It was an angel, but then again the softness left a sort of sadness, from the scar left on his heart from a long time ago. This song encouraged Vicki to sing along with it, a wolves howl was beautiful, whether they had a great singing voice or not.

Vicky was startled when Zephard seemed to disappear and reappear right in front of her, but she did her best to hide it. Instead, she looked as if she's seen that sort of magic every day, or, at least, hoped she did. And then he sang. She couldn't help but sway a little, almost wanting to dance, but not quite enough to actually do it...not until Zephard pushed her in the back in an attempt to get her to dance, at any rate. She smiled and stood when he did, swinging her head, legs, and tail to the beat of the song and looking completely graceful and fluid as she did so. She always did love to dance, but a situation in which it was appropriate to do so was rare.
And then he reappeared right in front of her, causing her to blush a little with embarrassment. After all, she was used to dancing in her den, completely absent of any kind of audience. She hoped he liked her dancing...even though she personally didn't consider it to be very good. As Vicki listened, she realized the song encouraged her to sing with it, which made her blush even deeper. She couldn't possibly sing as well as Zephard, but her howling wasn't bad...was it? It seemed like his howl had a sad undertone, and she briefly wondered why that was, then decided she shouldn't ask. She should just join in. She opened her mouth, closed it, then opened it again and let out her own howl to go with Zephard's.

It was easy to notice the blush on her face, he smiled and raised his head in the howl again swaying himself to the beat of the song. Her howl was sweet and promising, no matter what she said Zephard always knew she would be a very special wolf in this world to him. Although, as the sun set and it started to really get dark, he stopped watching as Vicki still howled. He decided to leave before she finished to notice or even comment on the song and his howl. Vanishing, using his strange spell of black mist.
Zephard wanted to meet Vicki again, maybe it be the next morning or a few weeks from now it would be nice. The wolf enjoyed her company, yet he had some strange feeling that they were going to end up much more then friends. Not like his friendship with Harumi, it was different, it had a different kind of vibe to it. Yet, he left vicki with a ten second echo of his beautiful voice as he sank away, in the misty form of that spell that was his favorite to use.

| Vicki noticed Zephard stop howling for a few moments, which made her blush even more furiously. Not many stopped what they were doing to listen to her, after all. It made her tense...until he started howling again. That voice of his could belong to an angel in Vicki's mind. Heck, it could belong to a god, really. She didn't notice Zephard had disappeared until after the echo of his howl stopped, and that made her feel guilty: she hadn't even said good-bye to him.
It doesn't matter. We'll meet again someday...right? Vicki thought. She really did want to see him again as soon as she possibly could, but she knew if she was to see him again, it would be a time when she was completely alone. Other wolves weren't as accepting as she was. Granted, her emotions toward Zephard were much more than that, but still: not many would do as she did. Most would probably have attacked the poor guy on sight. Dear Gods, please keep Zephard safe on his travels. Let acceptance of him become more commonplace. Let him be happy, she silently prayed, then turned to the tunnels. It was about time to go in. She sighed. Being out in the open was always more preferable than being in the tunnels, but that was where mostly everyone would be. She waited a few more seconds on the off-chance Zephard hadn't really left, then turned and walked inside the tunnel, a smile on her face and no hint that she only met the most amazing wolf she'd probably ever know on it.
