SMILE AND GIVE A TOAST, BRAG AND BOAST FOOL THE WORLD WITH ALL OF YOUR LIES.
THE PARASITE'S HOST NEVER EVEN KNOWS PULL THE WOOL OVER OUR EYES. WALK THE LINE AND PAY THE PRICE A POUND OF FLESH FOR PARADISE.
WEAR THE WOUNDS OF YOUR DEMISE.
resolution held a heavy weight in theo's heart. he was tired of being caught off guard due to his own lack of forethought. the rogues who had lived off the inu food supply for two weeks was a prime example of theo assuming the best rather than weeding out the worst. it was time he became less naive, less peaceable. if he fell too deeply into pacifist mellow, inu would become overrun.
and so, the boy decided he would become more involved in the day-to-day happenings of the islands. true, he was active in socializing with the different families that resided inside of his home, but when they voiced issues he had previously seen it has his job to soothe the hurt away with words rather than seek the source of the troubles. things would change, now. he would become much more proactive, all in light of perspica's adventure.
to kickstart this initiative, theoktony wished to meet with his beta. he hadn't seen the lad in a while. the luminary was quite aware of the adventures beyond inu creed took, and for the first time it irked him. what was the use in his rank if creed wasn't by theoktony's side when he was needed? worried by this trapdoor, he sent out a tremulous call, a voice to reach out through the miles.

Creed was near the Dove Island when he heard the call. He was planning to take some sort of trip. He was getting more restless each day. He seeked knowledge and wanted more. When his alpha called for him he felt his ear twitch and he calmly headed toward the Alpha. Both of his Daemons were mysteriously gone.. Well wasn't really a Msytery at all. They loved gushy moments and were probably still gushing with some sort of dove or something.
Creed finally reached the pure white alpha. He didn't bother bowing or giving curtsey he just stood there waiting for the Alpha to speak. He knew from the Alphas thoughts that he was upset about how he seemed to be to lazy to do about anything. It was obvious that any blame for himself went toward Creed the lower in the food chain. "Yes?"
he asked finally. Seeing no point in standing there catching random things in Theo's mind. It was kind of bugging. Creed knew he would fight the wolf if he had to in order to travel. It was just a simple fact. [/blockquote]

the worry in his heart was shortly dismissed as within time, he could sense creed's approach. it almost sent theoktony's tail into a wag. of course he was nearby. the luminary had chosen this foliage-striped boy to be his second-in-command for a reason, after all. he then felt assured that no matter how many times creed crossed borders, he could be relied on to be close at paw when theoktony ever truly needed him. an easy catharsis for a naive czar.
every stiff movement passed through theoktony's eyes and registered little. he failed to assume the dislike, the disrespect. theoktony had never been one to demand a kingly service from those lower in rank than him, and he had learned to chalk up creed's unsocial behaviors to simple personality. he had no idea of the revolution burning in the other man's heart, would never suspect that his friend would willingly turn traitor without question.
theoktony took a seat, a warm smile on his lips as creed slipped into view. clearly an open welcome.
"i'm glad you're home," he started off, before cocking his head to the side, smile falling in lieu of an expression of pure curiosity. "did you know that we've had renegades snatching food from our families?"

Creed stepped in and greeted the white alpha. When the wolf asked Creed a simple question he knew the wisest answer to mind. "I have heard. There are rumors and these lands are small." He sat near the alpha, to allow the old fool to believe, he will be there to protect. Even though his sister's blood rang in his ears and mind.
He took in the scent of the area. He wondered how many days it would take for him to rule these areas. He wondered who, he would have to kill to be accepted. He knew it wouldn't ever matter. A kill was a kill.. The only problem he saw into wolves pasts and minds.. He sees what makes them who they are. That may one day be a huge problem. Now he just uses it toward his advantage of moving up and being accepted. He uses it to figure out the fighting a style of any enemy and why.
He waited calmly for the alpha's response. He wondered if Theo was actually thinking on it. He wondered if the alpha would send him to kick out the rogues. Which, considering, shouldn't be at all too hard. They were easily scared by his dominiar and rank. He wondered if one of those attacks was that one she-wolf. He very very strongly doubted it. She was a nomad, she comes and goes. She was probably long gone by now. Then again, she seems to be constantly stalking him.

theoktony had been expecting creed to be as clueless as he had been. there was a double reaction inside of his head as the boy spoke otherwise. he was relieved that someone besides perspica was attentive to the underdealings in inu. however, he was surprised that his understudy would have knowledge of such things and not act on them, or at the least inform theoktony.
suspicion still did not enter the white paladin's head. in his confusion, he attempted to fill in the blank of why with innocent answers. none would suffice without the validation of creed's word, of course.
"perspica waited for a command to erase for two weeks before taking the matter into her own jaws. i had dismissed the complaints, believing the families were quibbling uselessly again. how long did you know, creed?"
with thought, theoktony began to allot the blame to himself, as was usual. if his auxiliary had known long but hadn't reacted, it would be because creed was taking his cue from the luminary's own inattention. if this was recent knowledge for the beryl-striped lad, then there was still the issue of lack of communication between the two. either event only made this meeting more necessary. all together, the leadership here in inu was becoming lazy. as king, it was theoktony's job to step up his own approach and encourage the rest of his staff to do the same.
