The sun, it wasn't shining, yet it seemed to glint through the thin clouds that covered the sky above the petal forest. As a large wolf, larger then most would think to be a wolf, stood at the stream, simply looking into his reflection. Yet, it seemed as if, he wasn't looking at his reflection, he was sniffing it. His cloudy eyes didn't see anything, as for his blindness was still held true. His ears, moved to the movements of the air, as if he was hearing for seeing. Shapes moved about in his head from his spell of metal, he could see the stream, as a yellow outline sent through his brain. His face expressionless, as he whipped his two long tails, he didn't bother to raise his head. Closing his sightless eyes, he lowered his nose to the water, causing ripple, he could see in his mind as they traveled across the water. Opening his eyes again, his vision did not change. He was starting to think, no he did not think, he followed the stronger orders, that was all he had been born and made for. Chaotic as it was, seeing, or rather hearing one in pain was how his world worked. Lifting his head, he folded his ears turning towards a sound of a lizard scattering up on of the trees. He came up nose to nose with the lizard, but it still didn't move. "Why creature, do you not move when I come near? Aren't I a sight that can kill?" He whispered. The lizard didn't say anything, it ran up the tree, the male sighed closing his eyes again and opening them. He wondered what the color of red meant, what it looked like, what did blue look like?
The large gray and silver wolf turned sitting and leaning against the tree. Feeling the weight on his real leg drift to his metal one. He sighed, wondering when the time would get sooner to killing at least one of the nobles, as of he had thought. Sailor got up again, walking in the middle of the stream, it wasn't a deep stream at that. Only a few inches deep, he felt it under his paws, watching the image in his mind, colorless black and yellow outlining, like an unfinished picture. Yet he could feel the coldness, the sweet feeling through his paws. What was his life meant for in this world? Was it simply to take life, yes, that was all a heart like his was built to do.

The waterfall seemed to make an etermal rainbow, and the flowers here were very vibrant. Vicki liked to come here when she had the spare time, which she had precious little of lately. As she lied down in the grass, she suddenly heard another wolf, though she couldn't make out what he was saying. She slowly stood, figuring there was no harm in interacting with him. After all, she was sure he heard that voice before, although she couldn't place it.
It wasn't long before she found Sailor in the middle of the stream. Admittedly, she'd never met the wolf in...well, wolf, but she had heard about him, and his voice. He was supposedly blind, and emotionless. She decided not to startle him, instead scuffing her paws so he could hear her coming. She didn't get a good view of him where she was, though she didn't go into the water after him. She stopped where the land ended and said the most witty thing she could possibly come up with.
"Hi."

He saw another shape on his radar, she acted as if he was some foreign body. Yet, what did it matter to him, he was trained to be a killer, she was not his target, yet there was no point in making small-talk with her unless she knew one of the noble family members. He could tell gender, by scent, a male had a different sort of smell that emitted from them, also a female iron count was lower then a male's. Sailor picked up his head and flicked his ears, the outline of the wolf clear in front of him, as he heard the stern Hi. It was impossible to startle him, he didn't know the meaning of fear, it had been beaten out of him when he was a pup. Memories that had been long since forgotten. He flicked his ears, turning in the other direction he walked out of the water, shaking his fur sending particles of water off of him. Shaking his metal leg he emptied it of any unwanted water inside the chunk of metal. He turned, watching the outline in his mind, she was still here? He turned his entire body towards her, swinging both his tails around in annoyance, perhaps that was one of his emotions that was still there, but he didn't know the meaning of it in the first place. "What is your purpose here?" He asked, in his monotone as he always did sounded like.
Sailor started to feel something across his fur, something cold, it came in thin lines in his vision, but it was faint and see through. Considering it was water, he blinked and looked up at the sky. "Rain..." he whispered to himself as it fell on him, as it started to rain harder, it was steady not too hard to be uncomfortable either. Although it wasn't something that a wolf who wasn't used to the cold should be in. Sailor turned back to the female, watching her outline. Wondering if she would move closer to him. So many had tried to figure him out, but there was simply nothing to figure out about him, nothing at all. He flicked the end of his tails, wondering if this encounter would be any different.

Sailor did not really respond to her with words, instead getting out of the stream and shaking himself dry. It was only then that Vicki realized one of his legs was metal, and she stared at it for a few seconds before remembering such an action was impolite. She looked away, and that was when Sailor finally spoke.
"What is your purpose here?" The question made Vicki jump. He hadn't delivered the question harshly or with malice. Rather, he had asked the question monotonously, as if he wasn't genuinely interested in that so much as...well, something else entirely, though what, Vicki wasn't sure. And then, as luck would have it, it started to rain. Vicki always loved the rain, though she contained her excitement and instead answered Sailor's question.
"I suppose I don't really have a purpose here. I just don't have anyone in need of healing at the moment, so I figured I could relax here," she replied. "And then I heard you and decided to come over, in case you required any of my services." She noticed he had two tails, yet another peculiar thing about this guy. She inched closer to him, though not too close for comfort. "I can't...well, I'm sorry I can't give you back your leg, or your eyesight. I mean...I could maybe restore your vision, if I let myself become blind, but the amount of energy required for such a thing, well...it'd be enough to kill me." She sighed. "I'm sorry..." Maybe it would be best for Vicki to change the subject? Yeah, that wolf probably didn't want to dwell on that stuff. It was all so depressing.
"S-so...why are you here? Got any business to attend to?" she asked. The smell of the rain calmed her down some and she sat where she was, taking in that scent. "I love the smell of rain." She hadn't realized she said that last sentence aloud as she waited for Sailor's response.

The female seemed a bit nervous bringing the fact of his disabilities. Such regardless things that you never needed in the world. She would never hit a soft spot, not even if she knew how he brutally killed his sisters, and watched the last one die, blamed on what he had done. He did not care for pity, nor concern for someone. He wasn't to trust anyone, he would only use them, manipulate them with his will, to make them useful, if they had no use, then he would simply ignore them, or destroy them. Sailor flicked his tails as he listened, give him his sight? Why would she do such a thing, he was happy with being blind, no need to drag another one's eyes out. Plus, he knew this healing power very well, his master has it, although it is that of a custom element it was to transfer things was it not? He had heard rumors on how she healed every single injured wolf. Yet, this was no injury, it was a born defect, in which could not be transferred for it was a genetic not physical in a way. Plus he had gotten so used to using these outlines for himself, he was perfectly fine.
Relax? A word that hit his ears, purpose was everything, but he would rather not ask. His being here was for simple reasons, for simple minds to understand such a thing. "Exploring. I haven't memorized all of the caverns yet, but most of my markers have been handy. Do you know anything about where your nobles live?" It may have been a too straight forward question. It would raise suspicion, then again, he was just curious, a loner would always be curious about pack culture would they not? Sailor would have thought they would have. His monotone, seemed like he was bored, then again that was all he was, a hunk of a secret weapon created from the miraculous depths of a forgotten operations eliminated by the noble families in his current pack. She then stated something that sparked his curiosity. It wasn't the fact of how she had mentioned the rain, it was the smell of it. Yet, how would one love another, in such a cold world.
"Rain, the tears of the sky, often legends say the tears or the gods crying for the mortal wolves, yet pity is non the less a emotion that one is not needing. Pity, is a sign of weakness." Sailor said, purely off of memory. Not how he felt, not how he thought. It was his robotic sense of mind who said everything for him. Silence was something he enjoyed, he didn't speak much so why was he speaking so much as of now. Sailor looked at the tree next to him, a feather, floated down hitting a branch. He couldn't see it, for a birds single feather did not hold much metal or iron in it, but he could scent the blood on the feather. It must have been from someone's last meal, that or another bird had attacked someone for invading their nest. He moved closer to it, picking it up between his teeth and letting it fall on the ground. Putting a paw on it to feel it, even birds understood him, but he understood himself better.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,430,true] | [atrb=background,http://i559.photobucket.com/albums/ss40/Milkyface4455/Vicki2.jpg] "Exploring, huh?" Vicki asked, not entirely sure she should buy that explanation. Then again, what else would this guy be doing? When he asked if she knew where the nobles lived, something seemed...well, off. Was that really the first place a loner wolf would ask about? Not where the alpha or beta dens were, but where the nobles lived? It wasn't enough to trigger any suspicions in Vicki's mind right away, but it did make her incline her head.
"Oh, me? Now, why would I know a thing like that? Ahahaha..." She tried not to sound too awkward as she asked that question, but, of course, she did. "A healer like me wouldn't know that! I mean, the nobles are very secretive about that sort of thing!" Okay, so she was lying about not knowing. After her escapade with Grove, she had a pretty good idea where the nobles lived, but she decided to keep her big trap shut about it. Knowing something she shouldn't know could get her into a lot of trouble.
"And I don't think of the rain as tears of sorrow, I think of it as tears of happiness and joy, looking down on the good actions the mortal wolves will do for one another," she added with a smile. "After all, plants depend on the rain to flourish, and if it was all sadness and pity that causes it, why would there be rainbows?" She flicked her tail. "Pity is an emotion needed from time to time, though. Without pity, there would be no compassion. Without sadness, happiness would lose all meaning. Without weakness, how would one ascertain strength? It isn't a weakness to feel negative emotions. The weakness is in how you act upon them." She then noticed the feather, which he picked up, then dropped and put a paw on it. She almost wanted to ask him why she was doing that, but stopped herself. She said far too much as it was. Instead, she didn't move from her position, but her tail was now wagging freely. It was always fun to discuss this sort of thing with her fellow wolf!

Sailor lifted his paw off of the feather, he hadn't stepped on it to be mean, he just wanted to feel it under his paws. He felt it's quil was sharp, yet the rest of it was soft. The wolf picked it up and gently set it into the stream, where it floated off, the blood stained on it dissipating into the water. He closed his eyes listening to the female, yet it seemed he threw away every word she said. What none sense she spoke could taint one's mind as his if he actually understood it. He hadn't chosen to throw away his emotions, he had chosen to get stronger, but in a way were needless emotions were gone. If you didn't care for anyone, anything, then it was so much easier to follow orders. He wanted to ask her something then, "Then, if you're nobles were ordered to kill someone close to you, would you kill them like you were supposed to, or risk loosing every sensitivity left in your state of being." The words lulled his tongue. It was a question in a test in his training when he was younger, the simple and right answer, throw away all connections, destroy them if you have to. That was what he did, he slaughtered his family, who took him and his brother for granted. Not only had his brother been his first victim, it had been the first sensibility to hold his emotions in a check point where they would no longer be needed for survival.
He stood up and looked at her, it seemed that way at least. "We each do not choose our path, we follow one that is laid out for us, unless of course, you lead that path, that you lay for others." Sailor stated. There were leaders, and then there were followers life was as simple as that, in a world where tears were not needed. Her could see the ripples from the rain hitting the stream in his mind, of the yellow outlines.

"I would not be able to kill a fellow wolf of mine. Had my nobles been ordered to kill one close to me, I would hide him or her, and let the nobles deal with me and me alone. If the executioner showed up before I could hide the one close to me, I would get in the way. I would not kill...but I would restrain. If I showed up...too late, as it were, and the one close to me was already dying I would heal him or her. I would choose the option where no one dies, and the only one that suffers is...me." This was an honest answer, of course, but she got the feeling it wasn't the one Sailor wanted to hear. "So, I would risk losing every sensitivity in my being, if it meant the one close to me could live." She nodded her head. "As for your last statement, I disagree. There are some that have a path laid for them that they choose not to follow. The wolf that is a true leader will make a choice for the greater good of all wolves, and not for his or her self. And he or she would not try to lay a path for any wolf to follow. Rather, other wolves would choose to follow that path because it is admirable. Anyone can make such a choice, though it is never easy to do so." She flicked her tail. "If our paths are predetermined, then they all eventually shift."

Such nonsense she spoke about. It seemed she hadn't heard his first question correctly, but he wasn't going to push against such a feeble creature for something such as this. The wolf looked up at the sky once more, he could hear thunder in the background, such a sign of destruction it was one of his favorite things. If he had anything that was his favorite anyway. He then thought about her last answer for a moment, A path may shift, but not in the intentions of one's soul. He 'tsked' and easily grew the metal out of the tree next to him, making a platform as he jumped on to it then made another jumping on the one's he made until he reached to top. The view was amazing, yet, he was here to find out where the nobles lived nothing more. In fact this place of scenery colors annoyed him.
He sat down onto the platform he had made from the metal on the top of the tree. A easy task, it could be used for torture, a good death, besides the explosion part that, was his favorite. To cause inside bleeding, or to blow them up in that matter. He closed his blind eyes for a moment, feeling the earth around him from metal, the cave inside the water fall, he looked further, there it was, the den of the nobles. There seemed to be a bunch of little pups, prey that would be easy to kill, perhaps he should kill them first before having his fun with the bigger prey. Yet, all the same, his mission was clear.

This guy was not responding to her. All he did was "tsk". He didn't seem to want to talk anymore. Clearly, she had disappointed him. Well, fine. Whatever. So what if we disagree? It doesn't make either of us less of a wolf. She opened her mouth to vocalize these thoughts, but then thought better of it. The platforms grew from the tree, and Sailor jumped from each one to the next until he reached the top. Vicki couldn't say she wasn't tempted to climb up after him, but she didn't. After all, he didn't seem to want to interact with her anymore. She decided to leave him alone, backing away until she could see him on the top of the tree, well, at least, the platform growing out of it. Wait a minute, she thought, stopping dead in her tracks. Where was he looking?
She noticed he was staring straight at the waterfall, beyond which, the nobles lied. No, that was crazy. He was blind! But...what if he knew where they were now? It wasn't like he'd do anything. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling...
Trusting your heart may be one thing...
Taking a deep breath, Vicki awkwardly climbed onto the platform and leaped from one to the other until she, too, reached the top. It was only then she realized his eyes were closed. Still, he was facing that general direction, and he did have that look of concentration...
"Ummm...Excuse me. I, uhhh...I know where you're looking. I mean, you're not really looking, but, I notice that you seem very...focused, at that area beyond the waterfall and, well, the copy of this place. I know you think of me as stupid, but I know where that is. Why are you so interested in the nobles lying there?" she asked. It was just a feeling she had that his intentions weren't good, but she wouldn't act on it...not right now. Maybe she was wrong about what he was concentrating on, although she didn't think it likely. And he only asked her about the nobles once, after all. Still...He was so focused on the cave, it was almost creepy.

The rain started to fall harder as the sky darkened and he could see lightning up ahead. It looked to be a few miles away, but it was still a sight that eased the destruction line in his thoughts. Vicki's voice did not startle him, he opened one of his eyes, loosing his concentration on the tracking and the outlines return to the assent area. It was beyond his comprehension why this fae tried so hard to feed him with none sense. He blinked, it was as if he was not blind at all, but in the sense of his colorless world, he could only see outlines, the shapes of them, scents, smells, hearing, that was the only thing he could do. He thought about things for a moment before standing tall over her and lowering his head blacking everything out as the outlines vanished, he moved his ears in pitch with the sound of thunder. "I'm listening." He simply answered. He wasn't lying, or stretching the truth.
Listening to the patterns of the rain, the thunder and the wind, he could pinpoint the time in which the storm would fully be over them. He couldn't seem to do it right now though, so he ignored the fact of the storm and lifted his head to look over his shoulder at the distance. The wind moving through his fur he lulled his tongue over the roof of his mouth. "Komanai, nee-sama" he whispered through his teeth. Perhaps the sheer reality of words could lul a simpleton to understand. He 'tsked' himself after he said the words and jumped down to the ground again.

"You might want to be careful. When you avoid a straight answer, other wolves will think you have bad intentions." She found herself ready to growl, but she fought the urge. Seriously, how hypocritical could this wolf be? Angry at her for unsatisfactory answers to his questions, yet not giving a straight answer to hers? That kind of behavior really irked Vicki, but when she continued, she sounded completely calm.
"I mean, you could tell me I'm crazy and you're listening to something else and concentrating on that, but I wouldn't buy it. You could tell me you're interested in the nobles simply because you're new here, but I don't think I'd buy that, either. I mean, if you're new here and interested in any wolf in particular, I would think it would be the Alpha, not the nobles who are so very secretive around here. To be perfectly honest, that look on your face only moments ago, well, it looked almost like you were preparing for a hunt. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were going to try to kill the nobles." She laughed, mostly at herself. Surely, her accusation was absolutely ludicrous...or was it?
"Komanai, nee-sama." Vicki heard his saying that, even though he probably didn't want her to, just before he jumped down to the ground. Scared of falling such a distance, Vicki looked after him for a moment, then started leaping down the platforms, one at a time. Komanai, nee-sama? I'm sorry...my brother? What does that have to do with anything? Ah, I could ask him about that later. Right now, I have to keep my head on the nobles. I can't shake the feeling this line of questioning is important.
"So, I ask again: why are you so interested in the nobles?!" Vicki pressed as she approached the ground. She was still some distance away from Sailor, but he should still have heard her, as she projected loudly, letting the wind carry her words.

It wasn't that the wolf was not paying any attention to what the fae was describing. It was the fact that he never wanted to answer her with an explaination of his own stature. Sailor shut his eyes for a quick moment then turned as she finally landed her paws to the ground. "Simply put." He started, then stopped looked away and started walking in the opposite direction further into the petal forest. Until he reached the water of the small lake in which it had created. He sniffed the water, with the reminance of salt in it, it was obvious wolves did not drink from this water. The yellow outline told him as well, that it could also be used for enlightenment. There were lots of customs lost in time, specially one that he had, of summoning such creatures as his own.
Sailor lifted his head again, figuring in the outmost possibility that the fae would have followed him. "I have connections with people within the noble family, at least, that's what some wolf told me, I want to find out if it's true or not." The lie simply rolled off hsi tongue, as if it were the truth in his same mono-tone voice which could annoy some to a point of dissatisfaction. This fae was annoying, but he had no orders to blow his cover, of course he could just say they were ambushed, letting her have some attacks. Yet, then he would be blamed for the death of their healer, by the sounds of it. Sailor finally opened up his eyes again, even though nothing in his vision changed, he turned and sat, putting his two tails to sit upon the water. "Perserverance" He whispered.
