She was thinking about Zephard and how she'd met him right here. How her life was going to change. She was getting antsy, waiting for something to happen, but also hoping nothing would. She didn't need any new drama in her life right then. Every sound nearly made her jump out of her fur, even though they were all common, really. She just couldn't shake the feeling that something important would happen.
Finally, her nerves settled and she started her grooming. She wanted to make herself as beautiful as possible as she bit her claws, licked her paws and ran them through her fur, et cetera. She was finally calm and her fur was neat and tidy when she heard a twig snap nearby. She tensed slightly, looking in that direction. She couldn't shake a feeling that whatever was coming was important somehow, and when she sniffed the air, there was a scent she did not recognize. All she could do for now was wait for this thing to find her. Hopefully, it wouldn't eat her or attack her. Hopefully. God, what would happen if she went to meet Zephard and she showed up covered in scrapes and bruises? No, no. Don't think about that. There's nothing that would want to hurt me...right?

A rusty spotted cat appeared a bit near the Waru Caverns. She felt the pull of her receiver of the message. She knew every word of it and knew that it was none of her business. She. With a head held high followed the pull. The pull led her into the cave and down a few tunnels to a white wolf. The wolf was a she. Ginger was to vanish after delivering the message.. Well suppose to. She planned to hang out with the wolf for a while. Really get to know this so called trusting problem. Sounded to her it was the usual.. Love and betrayal. Sort of lame in a way.. But hey.. It was up to fate to decide her words.
She walked up to the white wolf and spoke plainly out loud. "I have a message for you."

She was awfully calm when the Jaklun approached, but had it come a few minutes sooner, she would have jumped out of her skin. The cat was quite large, she supposed, although she hadn't seen one before. Were all of them that big? And did all of them just pop out in front of wolves fearlessly as this one did? When Ginger told Vicki she had a message for her, Vicki's curiosity peaked.
"A message? For me? You're not pulling my leg, are you?" she asked. Wouldn't this be just the kind of joke someone would play on her? Then again, this cat didn't seem to be the type to do something like that. She seemed to want to be heard. "Erm...right. Anyway, what is your message?" Vicki's tail was wagging as she waited for Ginger to answer her questions. Talk about an exciting past few days! The thought that this message might not be something she wanted to hear occurred to Vicki, but she instantly shrugged it off. This was obviously important if this cat was carrying it. This had never happened to Vicki before, so she tried to act casual, but how well she was succeeding, she wasn't sure.

Ginger rolled her eyes ignoring the wolf's excitement. It wasn't that great of an message. She had half a mind to say the wrong message.. Then say the real one to confuse the puppy wolf. "Are you going to yelp like a puppy all day? Or shut up?"
[/color] When Ginger felt the wolf calming down she took a deep breath and recited the message her God Master told her to tell. "Trusting your heart may be one thing but trusting your mind might be wrong or it may be right." when she was done speaking she sat down and waited calmly for the wolf's reaction. It was a lame message. Personally she preferred it to be "Trusting your heart will always win. Trusting your mind will never lead you to the path of true love. The path of the mind would lead to that of torture and honest measures for other wolves." or something like that.... She just believed "Trust your heart" would be simple enough and right to he point. What gave this cat of all things the right to be so rude? Vicki barely held back the growl that was building in her throat. It was inexcusable to go to someone's home, then behave like that, in Vicki's mind. However, she let go of her anger and listened to the message, which was simple enough: your mind might lead you astray. At least, that's what Vicki got from it.
"Interesting message," she said, her voice not showing even the slightest traces of agitation she had felt toward Ginger just moments before. "I don't understand the relevance of it yet, but I suppose that's good to know."
Yeah...Good to know my mind might or might not be right. I was expecting something...well, I don't know what I was expecting, but this wasn't really it. Trusting my heart is one thing, what does that mean? Does that mean my heart is always right? And then the second part: but my mind might be wrong or it may be right...well, isn't that just peachy? Okay, so that means...what? My thoughts on something might be wrong? Then again they may be right? I kinda already knew that... she thought. She was so caught up in her inner monologue that she had forgotten about Ginger until she looked at her again. Offering a smile, she added, "Is there anything I can do for you? You must have traveled a long way."

The wolf seemed off when she said thank you. It was almost kind of obvious she didn't like the message. But hey. It was delivered, and she was just the messenger. It was time to layback and hang out with this wolf a bit. She felt her rebelliousness of returning home kicking in. She wanted to stick around a while. Probably follow this wolf until boredom set. That or her little time limit. There was always a time limit, chances are they send in the.. Well honestly she forgot what they were called.. She mentally calls them The Seekers. Just to make things have a nice sound effect. They were kind of creepy and the end results is horrifying.. Locked away to fad into death forever. Then again.. Maybe that would be like a vacation.. However the only problem was that she still had a cat family some here down on earth. She practically had to sacrifice her freedom and life for their life. She went over to the she-wolf when she asked if she could do something for her. Ginger could not helped roll her eyes. Didn't they have education about Jakluns? She lived mostly in the dead world.. Obviously, food, rest, and water. Was out of the question. Then her stomach growled making her fluff out her tail and give a small hiss. Stupid Hunger. Just there to prove her wrong. "You have any sort of food or something?" she asked as nicely as possible.. Any sort of rude rebelliousness toward wolves or life itself, as absolutely gone to her need for food. Which suddenly very interestingly she thought of every food she used to eat. Which annoyed her even more. She hated looking toward the past. It was the only reason she was here now. She should totally just sacrifice herself and die. Not like back in the old times when she was an innocent teenage cat liking the idea of immortality. Now it was just a pain.

She opened her mouth to do so, when Ginger asked if she had some sort of food or something. She felt triumphant right then, and smiled pleasantly, having mentally restrained herself from making some sort of cocky sneer. Vicki may have been nice, but this cat was certainly trying her patience in the short amount of time she knew her. Vicki had to remind herself that sneering at her or gloating would simply be stooping to Ginger's level, or lower.
"I do, as a matter of fact. Wait right here," she said, then darted through the caves with ease. She had become so utterly familiar with these caverns, she could have closed her eyes and still reached her destination: her healing den. Quickly, she grabbed an owl from her kill pile, remembering how much cats liked fish and poultry, then charged back to Ginger. This wouldn't be as good as a fresh kill, but quite frankly, Vicki wasn't one to hunt when she would have to rush it. There was just something about trying to kill on the fly, so to speak, that made her nervous. The art of the hunt was in patience. Something about trying to kill as quickly as possible seemed to ruin it to Vicki.
Once she rejoined Ginger, Vicki placed the owl down in front of her. "Here. Eat until your heart's content," she said. The owl was pretty huge, and Vicki hoped it would be enough to satisfy the cat's hunger.
