The four of them, to think here would be the place to see each other, re-act to each other at the same time, what was happening didn't seem to be much of a problem? Velvet, Christa, Zephard and Sacher all sitting in an opening surrounded by streams of water, above the stars shining down on them. Velvet silent, Sacher scared, Christa glaring at Zephard, and Zephard, well he was a different matter. His eyes turned towards the stars glistening in his eyes as he lowered his head, but kept his eyes on the above sky. Sacher sat looking at Velvet then lowered his eyes sadly, it was such a calm, and tense atmosphere. It was almost as if even though the lands borders did not matter right now, they still didn't understand each other to a point of where they could speak. Sacher looked away as Christa raised her eyes away from Zephard back over to the young Omega, sadly putting her head down. As Velvet flipped her tail with closed eyes, listening to the night sounds.
"Have you ever thought, you could read the stars, their emotions? How they watch the world from up there, after all, they are the spirits of the wolves who are in the spirit world, looking at us. That's why the stars never stay the same. So, what do they think of us now, the wolves from hundreds of years ago, when there was peace, what do they think of us now?" Zephard spoke, not easily though, it was more of a question pointed towards Velvet, yet is seemed to travel around to the other two. Velvet opened her eyes and raised an eyebrow at the boy. She smiled and nodded her head, "If it was one thing my Teacher taught me, is those eyes that look at us from above, can be very cold. It's not that they don't like us, they envy the fact that we are below in the mortal world, it may seem like hell right now but to them they would give anything to feel whole again to come back and correct so many mistakes they have made. So many of them up there have died with plenty of regrets." She stated looking up at them. Christa in wonder looked up at them, as the same did Sacher.
"But, Velvet-sama, what about the stars that have no regrets? If there are any." Sacher asked curiously. The marks of the curse over his body, he wondered if his parents were up there, with any regrets of any kind. Velvet nodded again, "Those without regrets may not even look down on us, perhaps they aren't starts. That is why there aren't millions of stars at a time, because those who hold no regrets show no interest in the living world no longer. They sit next to their gods, in the hope that disputes there are settled, there world is not much different from ours. The territory is much like packs, the assasian wolves have their own pack as much as any other of the elements. Although they can't die again of course, but I'm not sure what happens if a war happens there." She spoke, the words rolling off of her tongue. Christa looked over at Sacher they were all turned towards the stars.
"Sacher, if you were to die, would you have any regrets?" Christa asked. Velvet sat herself up, "Hold on Christa, that kind of question is a bit personal don't you think?" she told the young fae. Sacher smiled, "Oh, it's alright, she's just curious." He laughed a bit. Then tore the smile from his face, "If I were to die soon I would have plenty of regrets, I'm sure most wolves do. It's hard to die without any regrets when you do have some. I'm sure if I live long enough the regrets will fade away, maybe not completely but. I'm perfectly fine dieing with regrets, I would watch the mortal world either way to see the future generations fix what's been broken." Sacher replied looking back up at them. Christa blinked as velvet settled herself down again, Zephard looked over at Sacher. Getting up the black wolf walked over and sat next to the smaller boy.
"You sure have some strange words boy." Zephard whispered, looking down on him. Sacher looked at him an smiled, with a bit of a laugh. "Not really, I just feel like no one will accuse me of lieing here. All of you have such noble personalities. Velvet's an Alpha along with Christa being co-female alpha. You as well have caught the heart of Vicki. There's not much I can do, I'm pretty much useless." He said with a bit of a laugh. Zephard was surprised, looking at the stars, "Just because I found someone doesn't mean I'm special man. You just need to try. Plus there isn't much else for someone like me to do. I'm just lucky you guys know the real me unlike when people judge me for my element on the ghost side." He stated, he really wasn't anything special in his opinion. Sacher blinked and looked at the stars, this was an interesting night was it not?

Bilious Pine was no eavesdropper. He wasn't interested in hearing gossip or even really any conversations he wasn't meant to. However, this time, he couldn't help but overhear the conversation.
His throat was dry, and felt like it was on fire. Maybe water, lots of water, would stop this sensation. That is why he went to the Forest of Streams, where there was plenty of water for him. As he took a long drink from one of the many streams, his ears twitched. He heard talking, first from a voice he didn't recognize, then from one of the alphess herself, Velvet. Now, of course, hearing his alphess' voice immediately peaked his interest, and he listened more closely. He heard another voice he didn't recognize answering Velvet. What was she doing, speaking to two wolves that weren't in her pack? Wasn't she aware of the implications? Bilious almost revealed himself right then and there, but stopped out of sheer curiosity. What would Velvet tell the guy?
Ah, so wolves without regrets stayed with their gods, although Velvet claimed not to know what happened if there was war amongst them. Bilious chuckled to himself. What happened if the dead fought? Utter chaos. Imbalance. Fighting in the afterlife could only mean being in a special kind of hell. Still, he didn't speak up, though it wasn't like he was hiding or making himself hard to notice. Then, he heard the co-alphess speak. So Velvet wasn't in this alone...whatever she was doing. Ah, it seemed one of the wolves was named "Sacher". Perhaps he would learn the last wolf's name soon.
Of course, Christa asked a very personal question to the one called Sacher, if he had regrets. Well, Bilious could vouch that regrets did not always diminish with time. Sometimes, they just pile up over the years. He listened closely to Sacher's answer. Perfectly fine with dying with regrets, huh? Heh. That was probably the best option: to die and become a star, far away from this place. Dying without regrets and living next to his god was not appealing to him at all. It was his god that made him kill his mate and children. It was his god that laid this curse upon him. It was his god that had forsaken him.
The stranger spoke to the one named Sacher, although what he said, Bilious didn't pay any attention to. Nothing caught his interest...until the last part, when he said he was lucky they knew the real him, unlike when others judged him for his ghost element. From what Bilious gathered, this meant that he had another element besides ghost, but he was at least part of his element.
"I feel for you," he rasped, making his presence known. He limped over to the group, and, once he was closer, fell into a bow to Christa and Velvet. "Apologies for the intrusion." He started coughing that insane, whooping cough of his. The kind which made his throat seem to catch fire, and made him want to scream in agony. The kind which was only too common. "Permission to join you?"

Velvet perked her ears as a new wolf came into the playing board. He must have been listening the entire time, she smiled at such a creature. He obviously was familiar with her and her rank, "OF course, I would be in the wrong to refuse more company in such a manner of tonight." she rasped, coughing a bit Christa became a bit alarmed and looked at the wolf. Velvet shooed her with her paw, "I'm fine. I'll have to ask zephard a favor before he leaves." she said catching up on her breath. Velvet looked at the newcomer wolf, "Now that you're here though, tell me your name young man." She knew he couldn't be considered a young man, but she spoke that formally way with every wolf. The only one's she was rough with was those such as azrael that she had been. Velvet flicked her tail, the friendly smile still on her face.
Christa looked at Velvet, it had been more often then not Velvet had been getting coughing fits. The wolf was worried for her, after all she considered the alpha to be her mother since everyone refused to raise such a wolf with no powers and not even odd coloring like velvet and her brownish red coloring. The pure white wolf sighed and listened to Sacher, such an answer from a wolf in pain. She was wondering why he painted his fur like that, all the wolves were delusional but she had seen nothing like that. She pretty much ignored the newcomer, then turned to Zephard. He must have been something that Velvet took interest in. Or perhaps she wanted to ask him to tell Vicki that she needed a check-up and their healer well was, they didn't know. Christa sighed.
Sacher almost jumped up behind Zephard when the newcomer came. The scared omega started to relax after Velvet welcomed him. Although when he looked back over to Christa she seemed to be starring at his black markings. The wolf pulled his ears back sadly, it wasn't his fault his fur was tainted with these colors. They were a symbol of his broken down memory, that was gone from his state of mind. "I'm Sacher" Sacher introduced himself to Bill, with only a little bit of confidence, but not much at that figure of speaking.
Zephard blinked, what did she want to see him about. The male started to wonder what the big deal was about her sickness, although then again his curiosity always got the better of him. Then looked at the new one, more for the meeting? "This is quiet getting to be an interesting night. You can call me Zephard." He dipped his head to bill.

Bilious chuckled at Velvet's reaction to him, a chuckle which quickly became a cough. Unlike Velvet, who coughed only a bit, Bilious' cough was not going to stop that easily. He turned away from the others as he coughed harder and harder, finally spitting out some blood as the coughing subsided. Maybe he shouldn't ever laugh again. He turned back to the others once he had gotten control over himself.
"Too funny, calling me 'young'," he said with a snicker. "Name's Bilious, though you may call me whatever you wish. You've called upon me once or twice for advice, though I doubt I left any kind of impression." He felt that burning itch again, but he wouldn't scratch, which, of course, made him twitch as if he was some crazy wolf or something. "I am a mere Omega after all." Twitch, twitch...ah, there we go. The itching stopped and the pain began. Perfect. Bilious sucked in his breath, but managed not to whimper. The "mere Omega" comment wasn't meant to be an insult by any means. He was only memorable in his craziness, so when he actually gave sound advice, the advice itself would stick, but the fact that it came from Bilious wouldn't.
"A pleasure to meet you both," he added to Sacher and Zephard. Zephard...where had he heard that name before? He could swear he heard of the guy before, but didn't know where. He held his breath as he started to shiver. It wasn't really cold out. Well, not colder than was usual, but he still couldn't stop his shivering. It was freezing to him, though at the same time, he felt like he was on fire. Truly, Minlo was good at making this sickness a living hell. "My dear Alphess, are you alright?" He was actually addressing both Christa and Velvet with that question: Velvet didn't seem to be in the best physical shape, but judging by Christa's sigh, she wasn't in the best emotional shape, herself. Maybe Bilious could help?
Yeah, that would be the day...when I actually help others, he thought with a slight cough. It wasn't that he didn't want to: he wasn't heartless. However, it didn't seem he'd really be able to, which is why he wondered, not for the first time, why he was even kept alive. True, his advice helped avoid disaster once or twice, but he was slipping further and further into insanity, and therefore was less and less able to say wise things. Not to mention the fact that he hadn't been sleeping, for fear of having another one of his "visions", which still plagued him anyway. It'd probably just be easier on everyone if he just died, but he didn't have the guts to do it himself. What a coward I am...

Velvet watched the wolf with fascination. She knew that his condition was because he was old, as for her, as of her such a young age, this was a serious condition that many were worried for her about. She nodded her head, "My health is none of to be your concern dear, for I am young and you are old. This is simply a curse for my misleadings. Proof of which that Martial gives out true judgement against life, not just for personal reasons." Velvet told him, after all it was true. She had been the very first master of the shadows. Velvet got up and pulled out twenty silver rings over to where Zephard was sitting. She quietly opened them with shadows and placed them firmly on his paws, five on each paw. "Here, take these, and ask your dear beloved if I can drop by some time, considering our healer is missing at the moment." Velvet said to the young wolf in front of her.
Zephard watched as he received the rings. It was surprising to receive such a gift from someone as subtle as the alphess of Kuki. The black wolf dipped his head in gratitude. "I must be off then, I'll keep in contact, my lord" Zephard got up and started to run off. Stopping for a second to look back at the others with a smile, he was going to be late, to his date with his beloved. With that, he ran off into the night.
Sacher looked over at Velvet as Zephard ran off, listening to what she had said. A cursed wolf, just like him? The brown wolf then looked at Christa who was a bit quiet. "Uh...Mister, are you alright?" he asked the new wolf a bit nervously. He seemed to be in worse condition then Velvet, then again, she was right he was old and she was not. The boy got up and slipped over closer to the man. Christa still said nothing.
{Bleh I know it's a horrible post}

"Curse," Bilious muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know how that is. You're lucky to be able to have such faith in your goddess, to not have to worry about her doing things out of spite." He coughed a little more, and he seemed to age some. "Still, let me know if there is any way I may help. It is always a pleasure to serve." He shivered, and in trying to stop himself from doing so, only shivered more violently as he stared after Zephard with his blood-shot eyes. Keep in contact...his lord? Was he trying to address Bilious there? Why would he do such a thing? Didn't he know his place? How could he possibly...? All these questions swam in the wolf's mind, making his head hurt and an involuntary growl escape his lips. He closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, Zephard had run off.
"Me? No. But I'll live," he answered. Was Sacher...slipping closer to him? Why? It had to be Bilious' imagination. Then Sacher came closer, and closer, then lunged at the old wolf ((not GM-ing. This is just in Bilious' imagination)), whose eyes widened in surprise. Bilious ducked under the supposed lunge, then pounced at where he thought the young wolf was...only to body-slam into the stream. Instead of feeling hot and cold, his whole body stung upon contact with the water, and he couldn't help but howl in pain. He knew how to swim, but with all this pain and panic flitting through his mind, he found himself flailing about. Of course, the water was shallow enough that he could feel his paws scraping against the land beneath. He wasn't in any real danger of drowning. He was, however, unable to stop himself from tearing up, and only then did he see that Sacher was still on the land, farther away than he originally thought. That wolf had never lunged at him.
"Sorry..." Bilious rasped, still flailing as if his very life depended on it. I swear, I make worse first-impressions every day.
